The question I often ask myself when I get dressed is how to give a touch of modernity to any of my outfits. Certainly, it’s about the general appearance first, because you can be very classic and modern at the same time. For my part I consider myself as a very normal guy and I don’t consider myself to have such an appearance, so I prefer to play with my clothes and make them artifices to stand out.
In this post I wear a shirt under a sweater, the perfect masculine combination but incredibly classic and very boring and I cut this classic look with a light jeans torn at the hem and slightly short with a faded hue, and a suede jacket. Finally, a pair of very classic sneakers, the timeless Stan Smith of Adidas.
I think we shouldn’t over-dress and we should respect the codes of the men’s wardrobe, it’s then up to each one of us to interpret them in our own way and bring our personal touch.
Following fashion and trends is nice, but interpreting them in a personal way is much better!

La question que je me pose le plus souvent lorsque je m’habille est comment donner une touche de modernité à n’importe laquelle de mes tenues. Certes il y a déjà l’allure générale car on peut être très classique mais moderne à la fois. Pour ma part je me considère un mec très normal et je ne m’estime pas avoir une allure de ce genre, alors je préfère jouer avec mes vêtements et faire d’eux des artifices pour sortir du lot.
Dans ce post je porte une chemise sous un pull – la parfaite combinaison masculine mais incroyablement classique et très ennuyeuse – mais je coupe cet aspect classique avec un jeans clair déchiré à l’ourlet et légèrement court avec une teinte délavée, et une veste en daim. Pour finir, une paire de baskets très classiques, les indémodables Stan Smith de Adidas.
Je pense qu’il ne faut pas en faire trop à l’heure de s’habiller et qu’on doit respecter les codes de la garde-robe masculine, c’est à chacun de les interpréter à sa façon et d’amener sa touche personnelle.
Suivre la mode et les tendances c’est bien, mais les interpréter à sa façon c’est beaucoup mieux!
